Math Tutor Logo White, Florida, Riverview, Apollo Beach, Wimauma, Ruskin
My name is Lauren and I love math! I’m a boy mom, a loving wife, a homeschool teacher, math tutor, exercise enthusiast, plant lady and daughter of the King, but not entirely in that order.

Ever since I was in high school AP Calculus classes, I’ve been tutoring others in math. I’ve always wanted to be a teacher but college led me down a new path of engineering where I learned to love what you can do with numbers. I graduated with a Chemical Engineering degree, Magna Cum Laude, with honors in 2012 and started my career in engineering. Eight years, two boys and an MBA degree later, I left the engineering world to homeschool my boys.

While I’ve continued tutoring part time throughout my adult life, in 2025, I officially started Math with Lauren. Math with Lauren is a place where students find confidence in math and a safe place to ask questions. It’s a place where parents can find a partner in their student’s education and an approachable person to use as a leader and mentor in their children’s lives.

I love working with all ages of children in math, but working with middle and high school students is my passion! Whether it’s mastering math facts, learning how to add fractions or solving integrals in calculus, I love every moment of it.

Every parent’s and student’s story is different.  Whether you just need a safe place for your student to ask questions to complete their homework, a math teacher for your high schooler or you need to prepare for the PERT or SAT, I am ready for you!
